Chrysler, LLC to Select Local Designer to Create Wardrobe for Fasihon Event

The event will feature Live Entertainment from DJ Paradime (Kid Rocks DJ), as well Funk Jazz recording artists Midtown Underground.  The venue will cater 3 levels each having their own unique features.   Prem Mukherjee, named the 2007 and 2008 "Best Photographer in Detroit" in the WDIV Vote 4 the Best Contest, will be showcasing photography from around the world, and will have pieces for sale.  60% of the proceeds from the images will go to the DIO, and 40% will go to the homeless in Detroit.

The part of the event that everyone is talking about is the Fashion Show.  From 8pm-8:45, 4 local fashion designers- Eugenia and Paul Patterson of EUGENIAPAUL, Karla Miles of   Definitions, Samira Bond of  Mira B. & Adriana Pavon will showcase their work to the audience.  The biggest news came just a few days ago when Chrysler, LLC announced they will select one of the local Designers to design the wardrobe for one of their brands, with the possibility of designing a wardrobe for all 3 of their brands.  This has created a lot of excitement in the local fashion arena, and is a huge step in the Detroit automotive businesses getting behind their local area.

Automotive, Entertainment, and Design has a huge talent pool here in Metro Detroit, and this event will showcase this creative to the world. 

The EyesOn Detroit Design is the first of 3 events being held on Fathers Day weekend.  Every year the event does honor someone in the Design world with a Lifetime Achievement Award, with this year going to Willie G. Davidson, Owner of Harley Davidson Motorcycles.  Willie G. Davidson and some of his family will be coming in for the weekend events.
