The African World Festival Unites with the International Caribbean Festival and Parade, Creating One Big Event in Detroit

Featuring a worldwide selection of stellar entertainment, parades, artwork and cultural activities, the festival promises to bring in over 350,000 people to the city of Detroit. Visitors can enjoy performances from Detroit’s own Funkmaster Amp Fiddler, Reggae’s “Black Cinderella” vocalist Sister Carol and the outstanding Senegalese bassist Pathe Jassi.

All events have free admission and are open to the public.
