I'm Just Saying: Feminine Uniform in the Workplace

Project Runway produced a great episode last night and causes me to ask, do professional women ‘get it’??

 

I have attended so many corporate meetings and events and am convinced that ‘professional women’ just don’t get it!  Just because we are in mostly male dominated workplaces, it does not mean that we need to dress like men.  Femininity is a beautiful thing and should not be compromised in the workplace. 

 

I know we don't have a lot of time, but when you look better...

 

a.) you feel better

b.) people treat you better

c.) you make more $$

d.) more $$ means more fun!!

 

 

 Ladies,

1) Set your clothes out the night before. I know I'm taking you back to middle school, but it really works! 

2) Wakeup 15 minutes earlier to focus on your look.

3) Meet with a makeup specialist at any counter in the mall and explain your situation. They can help you come up with easy looks that fit your lifestyle. *This service is free!!
  

Finally...Go to a professional stylist to come up with an easy hairstyle or a weave.  You need something that will make your life easier.  Challenge the status quo and put your own stamp of individuality on that work uniform.
