Product Review: Lifefactory's Glass Adult Beverage Bottle

By now, you've heard of the dangers of high exposure to BPA (bisphenol A)-chemical found in a variety of hard-plastic products.

It has been linked to health complications including heart disease, cancer, neurological impairments, reproductive problems, increased risk of diabetes and producing feminine monkeys (I wish I had an image for that one…). 

Enough reasons to go green??

Pros :

·         Promotes a safety lifestyle-the bottle does not enhance your beverage with ANY harmful chemicals--avoidance is awesome!

 

·         Stylish design

 

·         Glass won’t break-it is covered with a bright silicone sleeve available in Pearl White, Midnight Blue, Sky Blue, Spring Green, Orange & Red

 

·         Eco-friendly

 

·         Dishwasher safe

 

·         Affordable: $22

Cons :

·         “Adult beverage bottle”-they need to come up with another name for this category.  They build you up with an amazing design and then call it an adult beverage bottle … 

 

·         You should be able to change the silicone sleeve (to match your outfit) instead of purchasing a new bottle every time.  Sounds minor but this could be a deal-breaker for a fashionista

 

·         Doesn’t fit in my cup holder (2005-maybe the newer cars are different)

 

·         Only available online for us Michigan folk
