October is Student Month at the DSO! For the entire month, students at any level, from elementary to graduate school, are eligible for $5 tickets to any performance presented by the DSO.

Since its founding in 1914, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra has been a leader in music education by bringing thousands of students each year to its annual educational and youth concerts at Orchestra Hall. Today the Orchestra offers a variety of educational programs and resources, including educational concerts for nearly 26,000 metro Detroit public school children.

Student should be aware of the following: Any seat, with the exception of box level, will be available for most DSO concerts in October. The offer is not available for Coffee Concerts or any Music box office events. The offer is subject to availablity at the time of purchase. There is a four ticket limit per household. You must have a valid student Id at the time of ticket pick up from will-call.
